Un link y otro más

The links below both live and breath in a common place: the transatlantic Galician-Portuguese language time-space. The first one is the link of an institution, the Cultural Institue Brazil-Galicia (founded over a year ago both in Galicia and Brazil), and the second one is the link of a Music Festival known as Cantos na Maré, founded in Spain about eight years ago. The Websites for the festival and the institution, both present Lusofonía as that place named above (the transatlantic Galician-Portuguese time-space). In the case of the Cultural Institue Brazil-Galicia, that place is to be built between Brazil and Galicia, through scientific, musical, literary, and business bilateral exchange, for which the institute offers money, resources, and a physical space. In the case of the music festival, a Lusofon space is built with the yearly celebration of the festival and their multi-Lusofon music performances and subsequent recordings. Here are then, two different examples of Lusofonia constructed from a Galician perspective:

  1. Great that you found this Ana! Uxia is a friend of mine and I intend to do an ethnography of the music festival in Pontevedra. I've been reading about the Brazil-Galicia Institute, by coincidence (or not really so much coincidence). I'll comment some more later.
